Standing on that long, long line with excited chatter amongst your friends. With each of you wondering how great the ride would be, the intensity of one’s anticipation grows higher.

There are only two more people in front of you. It’s almost your turn. BUT GUESS WHAT? There are technical difficulties and the ride is temporarily shut down. You could stay and wait or you could leave. You stay.

Half an hour later the two in front of you has left. They test the ride once, you watch as the magnificent beast climbs up the rails… only to fall once it reached the top.

Ten more minutes past and they try again, SUCCESS! Now…

You’re next, you take a seat on the ride, you fasten your seat belts and you wait for the ride to start up. Your heart is pounding, because you’re nervous. You’re sweaty, because of the sun burning on your face. You’re breathing rapidly, because the oxygen won’t enter your lungs.

I’M NOT READY TO DIE you might have screamed as you held on tightly to the metal bar placed next to you.

The sudden acceleration takes you by surprise, and within a simple 3 seconds you have reached the top of the ride. You just had a mini heartattack, and the ride down would be much more intense.

BUT NO.

You have overestimated how you would have felt. In the 3 seconds that it took for the ride to get you down, with the harsh winds pushing against your face, you were disappointed.

You also have a headache.

YEAH THAT WAS KINGDA KA. Shitty.

I laugh at this because the same thing happened to me when I rode Kingda Ka.. minus the technical difficulties.
